OUR STORY AND LEADERSHIP TEAM

LEAP Strategy Partners was founded on a simple truth: CEOs face pivotal moments they can’t always fully share with their board, executive team, coach, or investors. The stakes are high, the pressure is real, and there’s often no playbook that truly fits.

We understand that a true leadership perspective doesn’t come from books or theory—it comes from those who have sat in the chair.

We identified a gap between what CEOs need and what is offered by networks, peer groups, consulting firms, and coaches. We built LEAP to fill that gap.

LEAP connects active CEOs with former CEOs who’ve been there—leaders who’ve carried the weight, made the calls, and lived the consequences. Our advisory panels deliver the wisdom of high-performing former CEOs: hard-won insights, no politics, and no fluff—just real-world perspective when it matters most.

Our model is designed to be fast, effective, and agenda-free. We offer fixed-fee, short-term engagements. No ticking clock. No drawn-out retainers. We’re in when there’s a challenge, and out when we’re done. All reporting is confidential and delivered directly to the CEO. We provide the unvarnished truth, with no stake in the outcome.

While most CEOs have faced similar headline challenges—restructuring, refinancing, market challenges—their résumés rarely reveal how they navigated those situations.
The real value comes in the ‘how’.

We developed our proprietary IP, PanelBuilder.AI, to do exactly that. It quickly unpacks the complexity of a client’s situation and assembles the right advisory partners—those with relevant experience not just in the industry, but in the specific nuances of the challenge.

LEAP was founded in 2023 by Mark Robson and Brian Gahan, with Kerry Shapansky joining in 2024. Together, they lead client engagements, recruit advisory partners, and continue to build LEAP into a new kind of advisory firm—one built for the reality of the CEO role: complex, often lonely, and high-stakes.

PanelBuilder.Ai

While most CEOs have faced similar headline challenges—restructuring, refinancing, market challenges—their résumés rarely reveal how they navigated those situations.

We developed our proprietary IP, PanelBuilder.AI, to do exactly that. It quickly unpacks the complexity of a client’s situation and assembles the right advisory partners—those with relevant experience not just in the industry, but in the specific nuances of the challenge.

PanelBuilder.AI completely deconstructs our Advisory Partners to uncover their deepest level of experiences and complexities. It is not just about achievements and successes; it also reflects the hard-earned wisdom gained from struggles and failures—things that would never appear on a CV, during an interview, or through other testing methods.
